Products sold by Xenon PC may be new, used, refurbished, pre-owned, open-box or ex-business equipment.

Used products may show normal signs of previous use, including:
- Scratches
- Minor dents
- Cosmetic marks
- Discolouration
- Wear on keyboards, touchpads or casings
- Signs of previous installation or use
Such cosmetic signs do not necessarily constitute a defect.
Unless specifically stated otherwise, used products should not be assumed to be cosmetically equivalent to brand-new products.
4. Product Condition
Customers are encouraged to carefully read the complete product description before placing an order.
Where a product has a known cosmetic or functional limitation, Xenon PC will endeavour to disclose it in the listing.
For used computers and laptops, battery condition may vary. Unless a specific battery health percentage or battery runtime is stated, battery performance should be regarded as subject to normal wear associated with used equipment.
5. Pricing
All prices displayed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.
Prices may change without prior notice.
Xenon PC reserves the right to correct pricing errors, incorrect product information or stock information.
If an order has been placed at an incorrect price due to an obvious technical or administrative error, Xenon PC may contact the customer to confirm whether they wish to proceed at the correct price or receive a refund.
6. Orders
An order is subject to product availability and successful payment.
Xenon PC reserves the right to:
- Cancel an order where stock is unavailable.
- Cancel an order where a pricing or listing error has occurred.
- Limit quantities purchased.
- Request additional information where necessary to verify an order.
- Refund payments for cancelled orders.
Customers will be notified where an order cannot be fulfilled.
7. Payment
Payment must be successfully received before an order is processed for dispatch, unless an alternative payment arrangement has been approved by Xenon PC.
Orders may be delayed or cancelled where payment cannot be verified.
8. Delivery and Courier
Xenon PC uses courier and delivery services for orders where applicable.
Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by:
- Courier delays
- Weather
- Public holidays
- Incorrect delivery information
- Remote-area delivery requirements
- Operational disruptions
- Circumstances outside Xenon PC’s control
Once an order has been handed over to the courier, delivery is subject to the courier’s operational procedures.
Customers are responsible for providing a correct delivery address and contact details.
9. Collection
Customers who select collection must collect their order from the agreed collection location during the applicable operating hours.
Proof of payment and/or identification may be required before an order is released.
10. Returns
Customers must contact Xenon PC before returning any product.
Products must not be sent back without prior return instructions.
Depending on the reason for the return, Xenon PC may require the product to be inspected before a refund, replacement or repair is approved.
Products returned must include all relevant accessories, cables, components and packaging supplied with the order where applicable.
11. Change-of-Mind Returns
Where a customer wishes to return a correctly supplied product simply because they have changed their mind, the return may be subject to applicable South African consumer law and Xenon PC’s return conditions.
For products that are eligible for a change-of-mind return, the customer may be responsible for applicable return courier costs and reasonable handling or restocking costs where permitted by law.
A product that has been installed, modified, damaged, used extensively or returned without its required accessories may not qualify for a change-of-mind return where the law permits such exclusion.
12. Defective Products
If a product develops a fault, customers should contact Xenon PC as soon as reasonably possible.
The product may be inspected or tested to determine whether the reported problem is covered by the applicable warranty or consumer protection provisions.
Where a defect is confirmed, Xenon PC may provide an appropriate remedy, which may include:
- Repair
- Replacement
- Refund
- Another remedy required by applicable law
The applicable remedy will depend on the nature of the defect, the product, the circumstances of the sale and applicable South African law.
13. Warranty
Warranty periods vary according to the product.
The warranty period, where applicable, will be stated in the product listing, invoice or other applicable documentation.
Warranty does not cover damage caused by:
- Physical abuse or accidental damage
- Liquid or moisture damage
- Electrical surge or incorrect power supply
- Improper installation
- Modification or unauthorised repair
- Incorrect use
- Malware or software-related problems
- Damage caused by incompatible components
- Normal wear and tear
- Cosmetic deterioration that does not affect functionality
This section does not limit any rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable South African consumer law.
14. Computer Components
Customers installing RAM, CPUs, GPUs, storage devices, power supplies or other components are responsible for ensuring compatibility before installation.
Xenon PC recommends that customers use qualified technicians where appropriate.
Damage caused during installation may not be considered a manufacturing defect.
15. Software and Operating Systems
Where a computer is supplied with an operating system, the operating system and licence status will be stated in the product description.
Customers are responsible for maintaining their own passwords, backups, software licences and data.
Xenon PC is not responsible for loss of customer data resulting from repairs, upgrades, operating-system installation, hardware failure or other technical work.
16. Data and Privacy
Customers should back up important data before submitting a computer, laptop, storage device or other equipment for repair or service.
Xenon PC will take reasonable care when handling customer equipment but cannot guarantee against data loss resulting from hardware failure, software problems, storage-device failure or necessary repair procedures.
Customers should remove sensitive or personal information where possible before sending equipment for repair.
17. Repairs and Technical Services
Repair estimates may be based on the symptoms initially reported by the customer.
Additional faults may be discovered during diagnosis.
Where additional work or costs are required, Xenon PC may contact the customer for approval before proceeding.
Uncollected repaired equipment may be subject to reasonable storage or collection conditions, where permitted by applicable law.
18. Incorrectly Ordered Products
Customers are responsible for checking the product specifications before placing an order.
If a customer orders the wrong product, model, size, connector, specification or compatibility type, the return will be handled according to the applicable return policy and South African consumer law.
19. Networking and Carrier-Locked Devices
Some networking equipment, routers and modems may be designed or locked for use with a particular network.
The product description will identify the intended network where known.
Customers should confirm network compatibility before purchasing.
For example, a device specifically advertised as a Rain 5G router should not automatically be assumed to support all South African networks.
20. Images and Product Representation
Product images may be photographs of the actual product or representative images, depending on the listing.
Where the exact physical unit is shown, minor differences in appearance may occur due to lighting, photography or normal handling.
Customers should rely on the written product description and specifications for important technical information.
21. Refunds
Approved refunds will be processed using the applicable payment method or another agreed method.
Refund processing times may depend on the payment provider, bank or marketplace involved.
Where a return is not due to a product fault and applicable law permits deductions, reasonable return courier or handling costs may apply.
22. Marketplace Orders
Orders placed through third-party marketplaces such as Bob Shop are also subject to the relevant marketplace’s terms, policies and dispute-resolution procedures.
Where a marketplace policy conflicts with these terms, the applicable marketplace rules may govern the transaction to the extent required by that marketplace.
23. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate contact and delivery information.
- Inspect product descriptions before purchasing.
- Check compatibility before ordering.
- Use products according to manufacturer instructions.
- Keep proof of purchase where applicable.

The latest version published on our website will apply to future transactions.
Customers should review the terms before making a purchase.
26. Applicable Law
