This is essentially the same model MTN provides for their data packages, they have the MC888D. The ZTE 5G MC888 is ZTE’s second-generation 5G router, supports both NSA & SA 5G Networks, compatible with mainstream 4G and 5G standards. The 2.4Ghz ssid is fully customizable . For ease of buyers sanity, the device has never been opened or fiddled with internally. The device has it’s original SA firmware intact. There is no damage to the internal or external parts (like new) and is working 100% tested on MTN 5G, Vodacom 5G and Telkom 5G. There is some branding from the previous router provider only on the bottom and on the 5Ghz SSID. The WiFi 5Ghz SSID name is partially fixed (Provider name) but there is a option to disable it.
